Based on your research, develop an wiki or presentation and a opinion blog or podcast about future energy resources.
Share your findings with 3 adults and 3 friends/student and have them comment on your research.
Part 1 - Create a GROUP wiki or a google.doc presentation on alternative energy sources
-Besides being responsible for some of the pages of the project, each group member must take one of the jobs:
editor - responsible for creating original document and final layout
public relations/marketing - responsible for having adults and students review site
human resources - responsible for making sure all members contribute equal amounts
reference developer - responsible for bibliography and references. All must be reported. This is a public site.
-Use the concept map (page 11 in pdf booklet below) to guide your development of the site
-Each of the types of energy resources must have:

Classified as renewable or nonrenewable
List three advantage
List three disadvantages
List 2 uses of this source
Insert a photograph or diagram that pertain to each source - should show it being used as energy or heat.

Part 2 - Each member must write a 2-3 page opinion paper or insert a 4-5 minute podcast and post it on wiki or blog that is referenced from the google presentation. Answer these questions-
What are the best energy sources for the next 2-5 years and WHY? Include at least 3 examples and reasons for your choices - especially information on environmental and ecomonical impact.
What are the best energy sources for the next 20-50 years and WHY? Include at least 3 examples and reasons for your choices - especially information on environmental and ecomonical impact

Part 3 - Your GROUP must have your wiki or presentation reviewed by at least three different adults and three different students outside of this class. Send them a link via email or facebook. This may be done over the phone or in the same place. They obviously must have internet access. Parents, grandparents, librarians, bosses,other teachers, etc are all acceptable. They must leave a comment on your wiki or your blog.
